Wine Selection Suggestions for Fall 2025-Winter 2026
Always lots of new and exciting wines coming into the shop.
Many open on Saturdays so please stop in and experience
them.
*BROTTE CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE SECRET BARVILLE
GSM - dark berries, liquorice, cherry, black pepper and
truffles. Chicken stew with black olives. Fois gras.
*TXOMIN ETXANIZ ROSE' - TXAKOLI. Tapas, tuna, tartare,
sauted soft shelled crab.
*DOMAINE ODOUL-COQUARD GEVREY-CHAMBERTIN 2022.
Experience the depth and finesse of Burgundy in this
lovely pinot noir.
*LE BABBLER BORDEAUX - meant to inspire one to
babble on and on about things that bring them joy.
A blend of sauvignon blanc, semillon, and sauvignon
gris.
*BAJAJ - NEBBIOLO from Langhe. Stuffed pasta, braised
meat, risotto with mushroom, dark chocolate.
*TYRELL'S SEMILLON - HUNTER VALLEY. Citrus, apple,
peach, flint, lemongrass. Scallops with risotto,
light curries, grilled salmon.
*BEDROCK OLD VINE ZINFANDEL 2023. Wild berries,
earth and spice. A good thought for your
Thanksgiving table.
*DOMAINE GADAIS MUSCADET from the Loire. Oysters,
moule frites, grilled shrimp, ceviche.
*PORTI DE LUZON a monastrell/cabernet blend from
Jumilla, full of ripe berries, spice, cocoa, toasted
oak, Mediterranean herbs, and smoke.
*DOM DES BERNARDINS - GSM from the Rhone. As
the weather starts to get a bit cooler a Provencal stew
would showcase this very well.
*LE VIGNE CHARDONNAY from Paso Robles is hazelnut,
melted butter, and jasmine in a glass.
*QUINTA NOVA DOURO 2019 - Unoaked from Portugal.
Touriga nacional, touriga franca, tinta roriz. and
tinta cao. Exuberant, rich, blackberry, mineral,
plum, herbs. Perfect for an earthy winter stew.
*TWO DOGS, A PEACOCK & A HORSE. Sauvignon blanc
from South Africa. Artichoke salad, grilled sea bass,
white pizza with chicken.
*CLOS SAINT-JACQUES - St. Georges St Emilion. A
small appellation with outstanding wines at reasonable
prices. Beef wellington, roast duck, venison.
*BAIES DOREES BROTTE VIOGNIER. What a great value!
Jasmine, citrus flowers, exotic fruit, apricot. Grilled
lobster with garlic butter, creamy prawn linquine,
or just enjoy on its own.
*COTE DE NUITS VILLAGE EN BEAUREGARD
DOMAINE DU CLOS DES POULLETTES a lovely white
Burgundy aged on the lees and shows peach,
apricot, green apple, fresh pineapple, and lemon
zest.
